Elvis –Safe & Sound This is a new book by Dick Grob, Elvis’ former Head of Security. An initial short run of the book was printed in the USA for the 40th Anniversary Commemorations in August 2017. This 2nd Edition is now revised & Hardback. The book is unique, containing numerous never-before-published Photo’s & Archive material, it tells the inside story of Elvis in Palm Springs, what life was like on tour, of various escapades not covered in other books & what is was really like to work with & for the world’s greatest entertainer. As an ex Police Officer, Dick doesn’t mince his words, he shoots straight from the hip; you can tell from reading this book what mutual trust & genuine friendship these two men had for each other. Not only is it a fascinating read, it helps you build a picture of what it must have been like to be Elvis, on the road, behind the scenes & always so dedicated to his fans.
