A wonderful account of a unique life!
Paradise, Suzanna Style is a fascinating account of life at the heart of the swinging sixties. Suzanna was one of the leading actresses of her day and mixed with a fast set which included Joan Collins, Roger Moore, Sharon Tate and, of course, Elvis Presley. The book paints an interesting picture of life in the film industry, contrasting the highs (a Hollywood contract) with the lows (the indescribably 'Son of Dracula' with Ringo Starr) of this most celebrated business.
Suzanna's style is sharp and anecdotal and, if her prose is a little rough around the edges, this merely serves to reinforce the conviction of her beliefs and opinions.
Required reading for anyone interested in the history of the cinema.
